When it makes it all worth it...

Today I had a really great session... One of my husband childhood friends saw my newsletter about the kids promo and called me up to set up a session with her kids.

These are some of the shots that we got of the kids together.

Too many times we let life pass by without recording it. If Joanne hadn't called me up, we would have missed the chance to put these up on her wall... But now, the memory of this "brother and sister" moment lives on!

Life is good. And when it's THIS good, you should record it.

For now and for later!

Family Pictures are probably one of the most important thing you'll ever do in your life.

Seriously, why do I have to be so dramatic! Forgive me, I'm brazilian! If you didn't know that about me yet, then well, there you have it!

Back on the family pictures topic: I'm not talking about the kind of pictures that you get when you go to a department store and are forced to sit there in that hot space and pretend to smile while someone waves a bunny at your and says "coochee-coo!" I'm talking about the kind of pictures that carry your legacy! That tell your story NOW! The kind that you'll look back and smile at.

A couple of Sundays ago, Brigitte and her family met me at the Red River College Princess campus and since it was still warm we were able to have a good time outside the campus. The doors worked perfectly with the bright colours they were wearting, but most importantly, we had fun!!!

Thanks guys! Here's a little piece of your legacy.

It really isn't Self Talk

Yesterday I had this really awesome experience to photograph the "GodTalk" team from Family Life Network. GodTalk is a radio show on CJOB and well... I'm not going to try to explain it to you! You're going to have to listen for yourself... Go to www.godtalk.com

In any case, here's some of the shots that stood out to me...

Thank you Melissa, David and Greg (www.rocknrollpreacher.com) for trusting me with your new image!

I'm baaack!!!

Hi guys!!! I've been working on revamping my blog so I haven't really been posting anything lately... In any case, it's back up and running. If you would like to see old postings, please click here.

Here's a few shots from Lisa and Marty's wedding! What a fun day! We sure lucked out with the weather too. It rained when we had an indoor place booked and then it was sunny when we went to the "old cottage"! What an awesome place!

Yes, this is at the Leg... Isn't it gorgeous??

Jill wanted a shot with Lisa - by the tub!

And so did Lisa's sister, Suzanne!

I love Merrilou's place! it's such a great backup location! I love the artwork she has all over the loft. I specially like this shot where the guys are playing poker and there's this sexy woman just above their heads....

The boys wanted a "band" shot. So we did the "u2" band shot. Just call me Anton.

Gorgeous girl. Gorgeous dress!

A view from above the loft.

This is the little cottage that I was talking about. The owner was kind enough to let us take pictures all over the place!

Dreamy...

I just LOVE the colours of fall.

I love bringing my lights to the reception and having them there really helped to set up this shot. It lit up the cake and matched the intensity of the light outside, creating this fantasy type shot... is fantasy the right word???

I love this! I caught Helmut and Claude, the new "in-laws" hanging out by the head table... aren't they sweet?

This part on the speech must have been funny...

Isn't this the sweetest father and daughter dance shot?
It just shows how much fun they're having!

Hmmm, can you guess what song Christina and Herinder were dancing to? I love it how we can see Jill in the back, sitting, yet doing the "Y"!!!
